Toyota Marks 3 Million Vehicles at Indiana Plant
Jan 20 — It's hard to imagine a single auto plant turning out three million vehicles, but that's Toyota plant in Princeton, Ind., managed to accomplish the task. The southwestern Indiana factory marked the three-millionth vehicle in a ceremony Tuesday -- a silver Sienna minivan, the Evansville Courier & Press reports via the Associated Press. Toyota to Send U.S.-built Camry to S. Korea
Dec 6 — Washington - Toyota Motor Corp. said it plans to export its U.S.-built Camry sedan to South Korea, following the ratification of a free trade deal. The Japanese automaker plans to export about 6,000 Camry vehicles annually to South Korea starting in January. Last month, Toyota started exporting its Sienna minivan to South Korea as well. Toyota Starts Corolla Production at New Mississippi Plant
Nov 17 — Blue Springs, Miss. — Toyota celebrated the start of Corolla production at its newest auto plant Thursday after a lengthy delay that the car maker blamed on the weak economy.
